Yes it does! This is one of our most convenient features. We recommend using our bed-corner straps (included with the topper) to hold it in place.
The Smart Topper works with all breathable sheets. We recommend cotton, bamboo or linen. Try breathing through the sheets and if it is easy then it will work! We don't recommend using mattress protectors over the Smart Topper or it will hinder the airflow.
The manual controller is embedded in the side of the Smart Topper and is designed to be used by touch through your fitted sheet.
A more snugly fitted sheet is best for comfort and performance, as opposed to a loosely fitted sheet.
Dual zone Smart Toppers have controllers on both sides, left and right.
"Twin XL-Left" is the only single zone Smart Topper with the manual controller on the left hand side. The left hand side is defined as though you are in bed lying on your back.

The Smart Topper can be used manually without any app or network connections, but functions best when set up using the free app.

Yes! The cover of the Smart Topper can be spot cleaned, and this is the simplest way to care for it. The cover can also be fully removed for washing.

No, there is no ongoing maintenance. Simply plug it in, switch it on, connect, and enjoy!
The Smart Topper is nearly silent when cooling is at a low level. At 50% level of cooling it’s equivalent to a forced air household heating noise. At full cooling, it sounds similar to a stand-alone fan running in the room.
The level of cooling selected will determine how loud the fans will run. If you're sensitive to sound, there is a Fan Limiter setting in the app that constrains the fans to run at a maximum speed of your choice.
Yes! We designed the Smart Topper to be perfectly medium firm. You may experience it as firmer at first, so give it time! A transition period is perfectly normal and will pass. You and your body are learning your new sleep habitat. You'll be glad you did!

Yes! Perfectly Snug is the best cooling mattress topper at high ambient room temperatures. All cooling systems (including subcooling water systems) are impacted by heat.
At room temperatures of 80F, testing showed Perfectly Snug had 102% more cooling power than our water-based competitor with only one side on; and 256% more cooling power than our water-based competitor while one side of the bed was set to cooling and the other set to heating mode. Water based cooling systems are prone to generating condensation at high ambient room temperatures, and also increase the temperature of your room as the night progresses.
The Smart Topper cools using room-temperature air, and is most effective in a room of up to 79F/26C. If the room temperature is above this, the cooling is less effective but remains more effective than competing systems in the same environment. Your bed will be the coolest place in your room.
Please note that the Smart Topper does not replace air conditioning or heating as it does not change the temperature of the room overall.
Not at all! Our Perfectly Snug Smart Toppers are ambient neutral. There is no decrease or increase of humidity in your bedroom, no risk of condensation, and no external machine that will make your room hot.
Nope! Aside from the simple cord and plug that hide behind the head of your bed, the Smart Topper is entirely self-contained. No hoses, no machines on your floor.
